The Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra Willmar Area Symphonic Orchestra on stage is a community orchestra located in Willmar, Minnesota and includes musicians from Willmar and surrounding towns and is under the direction of Steve Ekblad. The orchestra has gained a reputation of excellence while providing enjoyable, challenging, and fun concerts. Their concerts are held in the Willmar Education and Arts Center in Willmar, Minnesota.

Young Artist Concert May 5, 2013
We are happy to let you know that we will again be holding a Young Artists’ Competition for musicians up to the age of twenty years in the southwestern and west central area of Minnesota.

We are inviting young musicians to audition to perform with our orchestra at our Spring Concert on May 5, 2013.  A monetary prize of $500 will awarded to the selected winner or winners who will share the prize. additional information

Season Tickets for all three concerts are available;

  • Adult/Senior $22
  • Family Pack 2 adults and unlimited number of children $65
  • Students 12-22 $10
